Brief descriptions of the capabilities of software are presented.

- ETank is an interactive program which is used for design Tank with a highest safety.
- ETank is used to design tanks using industry standard methods:
- American Petroleum Institute’s API-650 (Appendices A, J, E, F, M, S), API-620 (Incl. Appendix L), API-653 (Incl. Appendix B), and API-2000.
- Underwriters Laboratories’ UL-142 (Vertical Tanks).
- ANSI B96.1 (Aluminum Tanks)
- Structural Roof design and other Best Engineering Practices including procedures developed by Brownell & Young and Jawad
- API-650: It is used for the design of vertical storage tanks with pressures up to 2-1/2 psig and a maximum temperature of 500 degrees F.
- API-620:It is used for the design of vertical storage tanks with a pressure of up to 15 psig and a maximum temperature of 250 degrees F.
- UL-142 : It is used for the design of flat-bottomed tanks containing combustible or flammable liquids up to a design pressure of 1/2 psig. The maximum capacity of a UL-142 tank is 50,000 gallons.
