Young engineers who are going to complete their graduation need good exposure to applied engineering for better employability and confidence to take up challenging assignments, as offered by industries and project organizations.

This course will initiate engineers to understand engineering of process plants. They may be at ease to take up assignments of design, selection of components, fabrication and assembly, inspection, procurement of items, inspection, maintenance and safety assurance of plants and workshops. Course will introduce the standards and codes normally used. They will get feel of application of design software as are commonly used by project consultancy organizations.

Such course will assure you to project as useful resource to hiring organizations. You will surely become a preferred few young engineers out of lot and masses.

Technical course materials shall be distributed. Course will be conducted by expert faculties having 30 plus years of experience in related fields.


Case studies shall be allotted to all participants and they shall be asked to submit their solutions.


Tests will be conducted and results shall be discussed with the participants so that participants can measure their progress, and adopt corrective means to improve on their weak areas of understanding


Who should attend?

This course provides an overview of all aspect pressure vessels and piping technology. Study materials are prepared especially for fresher engineers in such a way so that they will understand topics easily.


Venue: Charisma Group Training Center Vadodara


Duration: Combined Courses will be completed in 40 hours (20 hrs for each course)

4 weeks. Total 40 hours of class room training sessions, (2 hours a day, 11 AM- 1PM) + Tests, Interviews, Practice sessions

Alternate Sessions:

8 Days. Total 40 hours of class room training sessions, (5 hours a day, 10 AM- 5 PM) + Tests, Interviews, Practice sessions


Note: Participants shall make their own arrangements of stay (lodging and boarding) and transport. The Charisma Group Training Center is 3km away from the Vadodara railway station.


Piping Engineering

Course Description:

  • Introduction about piping industries worldwide list of piping components used in industries, their introduction and applications
  • Local process plants, fabricators, engineering companies, consultants and site erection contractors
  • Understanding of basic engineering, engineering material, strength of materials, fluid mechanics
  • Understanding of process flow, P&I diagrams, interpretations, plot plan& equipment layout generation
  • Introduction to ASME B31.3, B41.4, B31.8 and other codes related to process piping and pipelines
  • Selection of piping component (flanges, fitting wall, supports, expansion joint selection and application of pumps)
  • Selection and application of compressor
  • Piping plan, pipe size, development of isometric drawings
  • Flow and pressure drop calculations
  • Selection of material for process piping components
  • Stress analysis, flexibility stress analysis
  • Fabrication including welding, particularly for piping components
  • Introduction to piping flow and pressure drop evaluation & stress analysis software
  • Inspection & quality control
  • Quality control and inspection for raw materials, component and welding
  • Inspection & testing for piping systems
  • Non- destructive examination for piping

Pressure Vessel Engineering

Course Description:

  • Introduction to process industries worldwide
  • List of equipment used in industries, their introduction
  • Indian process plants, fabricators/engineering materials, strength of materials
  • Introduction of standards and other codes related to pressure vessels & process equipment (ASME PV Code Sec. VIII Div 1 & 2, SEC II, SEC IX)
  • Design of pressure vessel components (Shell, Head, Nozzles, Supports, Flanges)
  • Selection of material for process equipment
  • Fabrication of process equipment and welding
  • Exposure to pressure vessel design software
  • Local stress analysis at nozzle vessel junction
  • Quality control and inspection of raw materials, component and welding
  • Pressure testing/special testing for pressure vessels, process equipment and systems
  • Non- Destructive Examination of equipment
